The Communications team provides strategic communications planning, messaging and support for the division of Human Resources and Equal Opportunity and Compliance. This support includes developing and designing informative, engaging and authentic communications that enhance the Carolina community. We also develop and design external communications that reflect the University’s commitment as an employer of choice to attract excellent faculty and staff.
We coordinate closely with the Office of University Communications to ensure that our work promotes and amplifies the University’s messages.
Want to partner with us?
We’re here to help! It’s our role and our pleasure to create engaging communications for our faculty, staff and students. We want to partner with you as early as possible to ensure the best experience and the best product. In general, we recommend the following lead times for major projects (includes production/print times):
- Web additions/updates/edits: 1-2 weeks, depending on complexity
- Social media plan: 2 weeks
- Online publications: 6-8 weeks
- Printed materials: 8-10 weeks
- New web development: 12 weeks
- Events: 12 weeks
- Marketing campaigns: as much time as possible, at least 12 weeks

The first step is to gather the information needed to start your project. This will help you think through what you need and the outcomes you want to achieve, and will guide our initial project conversations. Please complete our online Client Intake Form.
